Dr. John Barakat graduated from Simpson College in 1968 where he earned a B.S. degree .  He later went on to earn a Masters and Specialist in Education degrees.  He was in the teaching profession for ten years when he decided to go to Palmer College of Chiorpractic, where he graduated from in 1981.  He also has a Diplomate in Orthopaedics.  He specializes in extremity adjusting and sports injuries.

 

 Dr. Trisha Barakat graduated from the University of Iowa in 1992 with a BA degree. She then went on to Palmer college of Chiropractic where she earned her DC degree. She has been in practice with her father, Dr. John Barakat, since 1996. She was awarded "Most Outstanding New Member" of the Iowa Chiropractic Society in 1997. She loves treating children. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Alexa, and husband, Rob.
